Learning Outcome 2 | Development
What/why
To demonstrate the learning outcome of Development, I have completed various assignments. In my
free time, I work on regularly adding new paintings to my mother’s website. I ensure these are
properly displayed using HTML and CSS.
During Development classes, we explore a different topic in every session, allowing me to
experiment with a variety of techniques. For instance, we have had lessons on JavaScript, PHP,
and connecting a database to a website. I found this particularly interesting and educational.
For the second-to-last project, we were required to create pages in HTML and CSS for a client. I
first designed the layouts in Figma and then implemented them in Visual Studio Code.
In this way, I have been able to experiment with various assignments to demonstrate this
learning outcome.
Outcome/Conclusion
When I reflect on what I’ve learned this semester in Development, I’m happy to have discovered new things. For example, I experimented with PHP and JavaScript, which (in my opinion) resulted in some great projects. Not only was I actively engaged, but I also learned a lot from it.
